The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC militia has on Wednesday stormed a radio station building in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, local sources reported.
According to sources, two military pickup vehicles raided the headquarters of the Bandar Aden and Adanieh FM radio stations near the Caltex roundabout in the district of Mansoura, and arrested its press director Rafat Rashad.
In the same context, Adel al-Hassani, a former detainee in a UAE prison and leader in the organisation Southern Resistance, confirmed that the STC militia also abducted Rafat Rashad.

Rashad was reportedly abducted by Kamal al-Halami, a leader in the STC who is known to associate with Daesh, al-Hassani explained in a tweet
The journalist was taken to Jabal Hadeed, a location belonging to the head of the STC, Aidarous al-Zubaidi.
