Doctors Without Borders gives details about murder of Yemeni doctor

The international medical humanitarian organisation Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors With Borders (MSF) has described on Tuesday the murder of a Yemeni doctor in Lahj province, south of Yemen, as “tragic”.

“The tragic deaths come in different contexts, and are a stark example of the violence that some of our colleagues face in their daily lives,” President of MSF, Christos Christo said in a tweet.

Christo explained that MSF was “deeply shocked by the tragic loss of Doctor al-Harazi, due to violence, outside the organisation’s work,” noting that MSF workers around the world sometimes work in precarious environments.

This comes after the organisation expressed its shock and sadness over the death of a nurse working in the district of Dhi al-Saffal in Ibb governorate, who died during a private visit to Aden.
