At least six dead in blast in Turkish-occupied northern Syria

At least six people, including civilians, were killed on Monday in a car bomb explosion in the city of Afrin in northern Syria, which is under control of Turkish occupation forces, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The blast occurred near Kawa Square in downtown Afrin, destroying surrounding buildings.

The city of Afrin and other areas under the control of the Turkish forces and Syrian rebel factions loyal to them are often plagued by explosions, with rarely any party officially claiming responsibility for them.
