A delegation of 200 Israeli businessmen will visit Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital, next week in an attempt to enhance ways of commercial cooperation with the UAE.
The delegation, called “Beyond Business”, is led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank Hapoalim, Reuven Krupik, and the CEO of the bank, Dov Kotler.
The Israeli delegation is scheduled to meet with senior government officials in the UAE, led by the UAE Minister of Commerce, Thani Ahmed al-Zeyoudi, Head of the UAE Chamber of Commerce, Abdullah al-Azouri, and Head of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Mohamed Ali al-Shorfa, the Israeli channel E24 reported.
The meetings will also be attended by the new Israeli ambassador to the UAE, Amir Hayek.
A report by the channel said that the aim of the visit is “to promote business between the two countries in the sectors of high-tech, agricultural technology, energy, clean technology, financial technology, food technology, health and water, cyber, construction, smart industry, and transportation.”
