One killed, seven wounded in Saudi shelling of Saada

At least one citizen was killed and seven others were wounded on Tuesday due to Saudi army bombing on the border district of Monabbih in Saada province, northern Yemen, a security official  said.

The official explained that the Saudi artillery shelling targeted shops and homes of citizens in Al-Mufattah area of Monabbih border district, which resulted in the killing of a citizen and the injury of seven others, including three African migrants.

The official added the US-Saudi aggression warplanes launched a raid on al-Dhaher district, causing heavy damage to civilians’ properties.

He denounced the continued targeting of civilians, populated areas and border districts in Saada province, in the light of a shameful international silence.
