The Ministry of Human Rights in Sana’a has on Monday expressed its dissatisfaction with and denunciation of the relief materials that were found in the barracks of Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in al-Abdiyah front in Ma’rib province.
The ministry indicated, in a statement, that those relief materials contain aid, provided by an organisation affiliated with the United Nations, were supposed to have been given to the people of the region, and not be stockpiled in military barracks.
“The Ministry of Human Rights believes that these organisations are aware of the magnitude of the great mistake they have committed or been made to commit. Accordingly, UNICEF is required to clarify what has been monitored, watched and documented in this regard,” the statement said.
The ministry called on those organisations to deal responsibly and professionally and in line with the duties of the United Nations relief and humanitarian organisations.
The statement furthermore drew attention to the suffering of Yemenis as a result of the unfair practices of the United Nations affiliated organisations at various levels across the country.
