Mohammad al-Houthi calls Iranian recovery of ship stolen by US forces an "honourable step"

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a senior member in the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a has described Iran’s operation in recovering its oil shipment as an honourable move.

“Iran’s move to recover its oil with the nuclear carrier is an honourable and responsible step,” al-Houthi wrote in a Twitter post.

“The enemy would not stop if not for deterrence, readiness and rapid action,” he said.

Iran announced that the Navy Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) had thwarted a US attempt to steal Iranian oil in the Oman Sea.

The Iranian forces carried out a landing and recovered both the shipment of oil and the tanker vessel.
