The Hebrew website Globes had on Tuesday revealed that the largest Israeli company for defence industries, Elbit Maarkhot, has opened a new branch in the UAE called Elbit Systems Emirates.
In a statement, the Israeli company explained that its branch in the UAE is “working to develop long-term cooperation with the UAE army.”
The company added that it would manage the coordination of technological solutions for users, and would lead the transfer of technology to local partners.
For his part, Ran Kreil, deputy chairman of marketing and international development at the company, said that the “Abraham Agreement forms a strong base for commercial cooperation in the UAE and other countries in the region,” referring to the accord in which the UAE officially abandoned the Palestinian cause and joined forces with the Zionist entity.
