The President of Yemen, Mahdi al-Mashat, has on Thursday sent a cable of congratulations to Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq al-Said.
In the cable, President al-Mashat expressed his sincere congratulations to Sultan Haitham on the occasion of the celebrations by the Omani people on the occasion of their 51st National Day.
President Mahdi al-Mashat stated that he appreciated “the good and brotherly efforts of the Sultanate of Oman and its rational stance rejecting the aggression against Yemen from the beginning, and the assistance it provided to the Yemeni people.”
He also expressed his hope that the bonds of relationship and trade exchange between the two neighbouring and brotherly countries would be strengthened in the future.
