Saudi-led invaders lost 219 fighters in latest West Coast clashes

The death toll amongst Saudi-led coalition forces suffered in the most recent confrontations with the Yemeni army and Popular Committees in Hays district on the west coast front has risen to 219, including dozens of military officers.

According to sources familiar with the matter, 219 bodies of coalition forces, including al-Qaeda elements and militants of the Tariq Afash mercenaries, were transported to Aden province.

On Friday, dozens of recruits of the coalition forces and the mercenary militia known as the the “Tihama Resistance” and loyal to the Islah Party led by Brigadier General Ahmed al-Kawkabani, were ambushed by Yemeni army forces on the Hays front.

According to sources, the army forces lured the mercenaries in a trap, killing and wounding more than 120 of them.
