Bakeries in Aden shut down as flour supply runs out

A number of bakeries in the occupied city of Aden have closed their doors on Sunday .

According to local sources, the owners of the bakeries in Crater area reported that they were no longer supplied with flour, and had to close down because the price of a 50 kg bag of flour reached 41,500 riyals.

Local sources stated that the white flour was also absent in the Sheikh Othman area, which raised the concern of residents of the area.

The areas of Yemen that are still occupied by Saudi and Emirati forces are often suffering from poverty and shortages due to economic mismanagement, corruption and abuses at the hand of occupation forces.
