Military confrontations between the forces of the National Salvation Government and armed factions of the Saudi-led coalition forces have expanded on many fronts of the West Coast on Tuesday.
According to local sources in Hodeidah province, the Yemeni army forces repelled three large-scale advances by coalition forces at the Hays-Alodein junction, and an attempt to advance towards the outskirts of al-Jarrahi district.
Yemeni forces also repelled a third attempt by the coalition forces to advance towards Jabal Ras area, the sources added.
Saudi-led coalition forces incurred heavy losses in life and equipment during the confrontations of the past two days, as more than 300 of their soldiers were killed and 10 military vehicles were destroyed, according to sources.
Fierce confrontations have continued for the third consecutive day between Yemeni forces and the invaders near the district of Hays.
