Saudi airstrikes target civilian areas in Sana'a

Saudi-led coalition warplanes have launched a series of airstrikes on the Yemeni capital Sana’a on Tuesday morning, a security official said.

According to the official, the coalition aircraft conducted three airstrikes on the Ala’anab residential neighbourhood in the capital, causing damages to public and private property

The official explained that the airstrikes on the east of the so-called German Hospital, in the north of the Sateen Street, lead to the burning of a plastic basket factory belonging to a Syrian citizen.

Saudi Arabia has been stepping up bombing attacks on civilian targets in Sana’a specifially recently, ever since their hold on the city of Ma’rib and the west coast of Yemen has been faltering.
