At least two citizens were killed and two others were injured on Wednesday when Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched airstrikes on the capital Sana’a, a security official said.
According to the official, the coalition aircraft conducted airstrikes on a building belonging to the Orphan Hospital in Moeen Directorate, killing two citizens and wounding two others.
Moreover, the aggression launched a raid on a plastic factory in Amran Roundabout in the al-Thawra District, which caused serious material damage.
On Tuesday, coalition aircraft conducted three airstrikes on the Ala’anab residential neighbourhood in the capital, causing damages to public and private property.
The official explained that the airstrikes on the east of the so-called German Hospital, in the north of Sateen Street, lead to the burning of a plastic basket factory belonging to a Syrian citizen.
Saudi Arabia has been stepping up bombing attacks on civilian targets in Sana’a recently, ever since their hold on the city of Ma’rib and the west coast of Yemen has been faltering.
