Saudi airstrikes hit capital Sana'a

The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes have launched two airstrikes  on the capital Sanaa’, a security official said on late Thursday.

The official explained that the airstrikes hit al-Nahdain area in al-Sabeen district.

On Wednesday, the coalition aircraft bombed the same area with three airstrikes.

Earlier on Tuesday, the coalition targeted Ala’nab neighborhood in Shamlan area in Sana’a province with an airstrike that resulted in the killing of two civilians and the injuring of several others.

Saudi Arabia has been stepping up bombing attacks on civilian targets in Sana’a recently, ever since their hold on the city of Ma’rib and the west coast of Yemen has been faltering.
