Violent battles between Yemeni army forces and Saudi-led coalition backed by al-Qaeda members have continued on Monday in south of Ma’rib city, killing and wounding dozens on both sides.
According to sources, the violent confrontations happened in al-Faliha area, south of the city, where the Yemeni army forces were able to advance towards the positions of the coalition forces.
This comes hours after the coalition forces launched a failed military attack towards the positions of the army forces in the Umm Rubeish desert, in an attempt to retake the al-Khishina camp.
Meantime, the coalition fighters have continued to launch strikes on a number of confrontational areas south and west of the city of Ma’rib, in an attempt to stop the advance of the Yemeni army forces towards the city center.
