A protest rally was staged on Sunday in the city of Taiz, calling on the Saudi-led coalition to leave the province.
At the rally, hundreds of protesters demanded a judicial trial of the head of the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government, as a result of the economic deterioration and corruption.
The participants went out in a mass demonstration on Jamal Street in central Taiz, to denounce the deteriorating living conditions, the local currency, and the rise in prices.
This comes at a time when Taiz merchants continued their strike, for the second day in a row, in protest against the deteriorating living conditions and the rising prices of necessary goods.
