The Yemeni army and Popular Committees has on Sunday thwarted a new attempt to advance by the Saudi-led coalition forces in Hodeidah province.
A field military source confirmed that units of the army and Popular Committees were able to repel the coalition forces’ attempt to advance in south of Hays district, which lasted four hours.
The Saudi attempt was accompanied by an intense action of coalitions warplanes and spy aircraft, the source added.
The latest attack comes less than 24 hours after Yemeni army forces foiled a similar attempt to advance on the same front, in a military escalation on the western coast.
