Saudi-led Coalition warplanes have stepped up airstrikes on civilian targets in Yemen, leaving dozens of civilians dead and wounded, in a criminal act that comes in addition to an earlier series of war crimes.
The Al-Masirah TV channel quoted an official source as saying that the coalition carried out 130 airstrikes in the past five days alone on a number of provinces.
These airstrikes killed and wounded nearly 50 citizens, including children, the channel said.
It noted that 26 airstrikes targeted civilian targets in four residential neighbourhoods in the capital Sana’a.
The coalition’s escalation of its crimes against civilians coincides with the break-up of its factions in the military field, particularly in the Ma’rib front, which is about to fall to the army and Popular Committees.
