Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has on Monday confirmed that Algeria would host a “comprehensive conference of the Palestinian factions”, which will be held before an upcoming Arab summit.
The Algerian president announced that his country would give the State of Palestine a check for $100 million, and would allocate 300 scholarships for the benefit of Palestinian students.
In a press conference that brought him together with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Tebboune said that the relationship between his country and Palestine is “too close to describe.”
Tebboune added that “the Palestinian issue will be at the heart of the upcoming Arab Summit in Algeria.”
