One dead and three injured in explosion in Dhalea province

At least one person was killed and three others were injured, including recruits, on Tuesday when a bomb attack targeted a military vehicle of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in Dhalea province, southern Yemen.

Eyewitnesses reported that an explosive device exploded, hitting a patrol of Qa’taba city police while it was passing on the main street near Hizam Abdullah School in the city.

The explosion occurred in the middle of the popular Qa’taba market, killing a 45-year-old person named Rashad al-Sharabi and wounding three others, according to the eyewitnesses.

No party has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
