The Yemeni army and Popular Committees have continued on Tuesday to achieve field progress in the confrontations they are waging against the Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries in the southern suburbs of Ma’rib city.
This was reported by Yemen News Agency, based on the testimony of local sources.
According to the sources, the army forces took control of new areas in Al-Wadi Al-Kabir district of Ma’rib city, after violent battles with coalition forces that have been ongoing since dawn today.
Moreover, the sources added that the army forces launched a large-scale military attack east of Al-Balaq mountains range towards the sites of the coalition forces and their affiliated armed groups in the areas of Jabal Ladha, Baqirtain and Quron al-Bour, southwest of Wadi Abida.
Reportedly, the Yemeni army forces were able to impose control over these areas and advance towards the desert areas of the Wadi district.
According to the same sources, the army forces forced the fighters of the so-called Bayhan Axis of the coalition led by Brigadier General Mufareh Buhaibah to flee from the contested areas.
