The Yemeni air defences have intercepted an F-15 warplane belonging to the Saudi Air Force this afternoon in Ma’rib province, the official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said.
Sare’e explained that the interception operation was carried out with a locally-made surface-to-air missile of the Fater-1 type, while the aircraft was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Al-Jubah area in Ma’rib.

The army spokesman confirmed that the operation was documented by the army media and promised that the footage will be broadcast later.
