Yemeni forces beat back Saudis in southern suburbs of Ma'rib

The Yemeni army has continued to advance towards Ma’rib city after new battles breaking out in the southern suburbs of the province.

According to tribal sources in the province, the army forces fought fierce confrontations against the Saudi-led coalition and their mercenaries, during which the army was able to advance towards the strategic area of Al-Akd south of Kara, the stronghold of the Saudi-backed governor of Ma’rib Sultan Al-Arada.

Dozens of both sides were killed and wounded, including one of the coalition’s military leaders, Talib bin Mubarak al-Hatish al-Jami’I, during the confrontations.
