The city of Mukalla in Hadhramaut province has witnessed on Sunday a comprehensive strike in all government facilities and institutions, as part of a protest movement rejecting the strategy of starvation enacted the Saudi-led coalition and the Hadi puppet government in the province.
The comprehensive strike called by the Hadhramaut Human Rights Commission on Thursday came as part of an ongoing escalation, and as a second stage of protest after vigils had been held to demand a halt to the continuous deterioration of the local currency and economic situation, which has affected the lives of countless of local citizens.
