Once again, Saudi drone is shot from the Yemeni skies

The Yemeni air defences have on Thursday morning shot down a spy drone belonging to Saudi-led coalition in Ma’rib province, Yemeni army spokesman said in a statement.

The Army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, affirmed the air defences were be able to down a US “Scan Eagle” spy drone, operated by the Saudi Air Forces, while it was carrying out hostile actions over the airspace of Wadi Adeida district.

The drone was hit with a suitable missile, he added. Sare’e reaffirmed his commitment that the Yemeni Armed Forces “won’t spare any effort to protect the Yemeni airspace as long as the aggression and blockade against Yemen continues.”
