Two civilians killed by Saudi attack in Taiz province

At least two civilians were killed and three others wounded by an airstrike launched by Saudi-led Coalition warplanes on Taiz province, southwestern Yemen, a local official said on Wednesday.

The official explained that the coalition aircraft targeted al-Barah area in Maqbanah district with an airstrike, which resulted in the death of two citizens, one of them a child, as well as critically injuring three others.

The official condemned the heinous crime committed by the coalition against citizens in the district, which comes in addition to a series of brutal crimes against the Yemeni people.

On December 4, Saudi forces attacked the village of Hakima in Maqbanah district, killing 18 citizens and wounding eight others.
