Fierce clashes have resumed between National Salvation Government forces and Saudi-led coalition forces in the desert areas in the Jawf province of northern Yemen and Saudi Arabia’s southern border region.
Coalition forces launched a military offensive in an attempt to recapture strategic areas that fell into the hands of the Yemeni forces two days ago in the Al-Yatmah desert in Khub Washaef district, well-informed sources told Yemen Press Agency.
Moreover, the sources said that coalition forces, under heavy air cover, advanced from Najran towards the Qashan Mountains and Wadi Salba, where fierce fighting has been taking place between the two sides.
The sources confirmed that Yemeni forces have thwarted the coalition attack, leaving dozens of them dead and wounded.
