The Yemeni riyal exchange rate had on Sunday recorded a further decline in comparison to foreign currencies in the southern provinces that are occupied and controlled by Saudi-led coalition.
The US dollar rate exceeded the barrier of 1,300 riyals per dollar in the provinces of Aden and Hadhramaut, while the Saudi riyal reached a value of 340 Yemeni riyals.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni riyal exchange rate remained stable in the capital Sana’a at 602 riyals per US dollar, since the National Salvation Government of Yemen follows a different economic policy.
