The Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population has on Wednesday condemned the US-Saudi aggression’s targeting of the quarantine center at Sana’a International Airport.
According to the Yemeni Saba News Agency, the ministry stated that the US-Saudi warplanes completely destroyed the quarantine center in targeting Sana’a airport, in a crime that is added to its series of crimes against Yemen for nearly seven years.
The statement considered that the targeting and bombing of vital and health facilities shows the insistence of the countries of aggression to destroy infrastructure and to paralyse government institutions.
The statement indicated that the quarantine center had been prepared to receive and provide health services for cases that enter through the airport, most of them employees of missions and international organisations.
The statement holds the United Nations responsible for its continued silence in the face of the crimes of aggression, calling on it to do its duty to stop the aggression and lift the siege.
The US-Saudi aggression launched a series of raids on Sana’a International Airport on Monday, causing great damage to the airport facilities, which forced the airport to shut down and ended humanitarian flights to Sana’a.
