The Ministry of Public Health and Population in Sana’a has condemned the continuation of the US-backed Saudi-led coalition in targeting health facilities and residential neighbourhoods in Yemen.
The ministry denounced the coalition airstrikes at dawn today on Al-Zubayri Street, in central Sana’a, which caused damages to Al-Aliya Hospital and many diagnostic and specialised medical centers, clinics, laboratories and pharmacies.
The coalition’s raids also caused intense intimidation of the neighbourhood’s residents and patients in the Republican Hospital, the second largest hospital in Yemen, the ministry added.
The statement stressed that “the continued targeting of civilians, civilian objects, and health facilities has resulted from the complicity of the United Nations and the international community with the coalition countries, by their disregard for the US-backed coalition’s crimes.”
