The National Salvation Government of Yemen has on Saturday sent a strong message to Saudi Arabia in its first response to Saudi targeting of civilians across Yemen’s cities.
This was made by the head of the negotiation delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam.
In a tweet, Abdulsalam criticised the UN, saying that “Amid UN complicity and international silence, the US-Saudi aggression has committed a crime in Mahweet, killing three and injuring seven citizens.”

He stressed that the persistence of US-Saudi crimes will be met with “the worst consequences.”
Saudi Arabia has stepped up its heavy airstrikes on civilian targets in Yemeni cities in recent days, most notably the capital Sana’a, leaving dozens of civilian casualties amid international disregard.
