The King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa, had on Wednesday received the credentials of the first ambassador of the Zionist entity known as Israel to the Gulf state.
The Bahrain News Agency reported that the King, during a ceremony at the Sakhir Palace, received the credentials of the Israeli ambassador Aitan Nai.
The official account of the Zionist embassy in Bahrain praised the official reception that ambassador Aitan received at the Bahraini palace.
The Zionist ambassador arrived in Manama on November 29, and was preceded by the arrival of the Bahraini ambassador to Tel Aviv, Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma.
Bahrain officially abandoned the Palestinian cause in 2020, when it signed a US-backed treaty recognising the Zionist entity.
