Saudi-led invaders launch airstrike on its own nominal allies in Shabwah

The Saudi-led coalition has launched airstrikes on Hadi loyalist and Islah Party forces in Shabwah province, during which 15 forces were killed and six others were injured.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on the testimonies of local sources.

According to the sources, the coalition’s airstrikes attack on the Hadi forces took place in an area in Al-Makha district, northwest of Shabwah, despite the fact that the pro-Hadi troops and Islah Party are officially on the side of Saudi Arabia in the war.

The raids came as pro-UAE factions took control of Shabwah and neutralised and weakened the Islah Party’s Ataq axis, following the dismissal and of Islah member and regional governor Mohammed bin Adio and the appointment of a new governor loyal to the UAE.
