Saudi-led coalition suffered over 26,000 dead and wounded in 2021

Yemeni army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, has on Sunday revealed a statistic of the Saudi-led coalition’s human and material losses during the year 2021.

In a press conference this afternoon in Sana’a, Brigadier General Sare’e confirmed that the coalition’s human losses amounted to about 26,000 dead and wounded, including about 394 Saudi soldiers and officers, and 745 Sudanese mercenaries.

With regard to the material losses of the coalition, Sare’e mentioned that 1,749 vehicles, armored vehicles and personnel carriers of the coalition forces and 253 machine-guns of various calibers were destroyed and damaged, as well as 39 weapons stores burned.

The army spokesman added that 22 Saudi drone planes were shot down (6 of the CH4 type, 12 of the Scan Eagle type, one of MQ9 type, two of Arque 20 type, and one of the Carial type), as well as two Emirati spy planes of the Wing Long 2 type and 64 various other small spy planes.
