Dozens of Saudi airstrikes hit civilian targets across Yemen

A citizen was killed on Friday when Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched an airstrike on Yemen’s oil-rich province of Shabwah, a security official said.

The coalition’s airstrike targeted a truck belonging to a citizen on the highway linking Bayhan and Ma’rib, killing one civilian, he explained.

The official condemned the heinous crime committed by the Saudi-led aggression and its continued targeting of civilians amid shameful international silence.

On Thursday, the coalition warplanes launched about 70 airstrikes targeting various areas of the provinces of Ma’rib and Shabwah.

According to security sources, the warplanes targeted Shabwah province with 50 raids, focusing on the districts of Bayhan and Usaylan, in addition to 115 raids that already took place during the past three days.

Meanwhile, the coalition launched 20 air raids on Ma’rib, 15 of which were on Al-Balaq area in Al-Wadi district, and five others on Al-Jubah district.
