Yemeni air defences have on Tuesday morning shot down the second reconnaissance drone plane belonging to Saudi-led coalition forces over airspace Shabwah province, southern Yemen, in less than a week
In a brief statement, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yehya Sare’e said that the Air Defences managed to down a Chinese-made Wing Loong 2, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, operating by the UAE occupation forces, while carrying out hostile acts over the airspace of the Ain district.

The drone was targeted with a locally made surface-to-air missile, the military spokesman added.
