The Yemeni army forces and Popular Committees have repelled a large attack by coalition forces towards the districts of Ain and Harib in Shabwah and Ma’rib provinces, the Spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, said on Friday .
“The coalition forces suffered heavy losses in military equipment, in which six armoured vehicles were destroyed and over 40 of the UAE-backed mercenaries were injured, including brigade and battalion commanders, despite air cover by coalition warplanes on the districts, without them making any progress,” Yahya Sare’e affirmed .
The army forces also attacked the enemy’s gatherings with four ballistic missiles and drone aircrafts, killing and wounding dozens of the UAE-funded militants, in addition to causing terror and a major collapse in the enemy’s ranks, Yahya Sare’e explained.
The military spokesman concluded his statement by saying that “the Armed Forces call on the sons and families of the UAE-hired mercenaries to withdraw their children from being thrown into battles that serve only America and its tools in the region,” stressing that “the Armed Forces are determined to defend the people and the country by all means available.”
