Yemeni Armed Forces officially claim strikes against UAE, dubbed Operation Yemen Hurricane

The Yemeni Armed Forces have on Monday night revealed the details of their latest military operation dubbed “Yemen Hurricane”, which targeting vital and important sites inside the territory of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The operation was a retaliation in response to ongoing Emirati escalation of aggression against Yemen.

Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e confirmed that the operation hit airports in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as th e Al-Musaffah oil refinery in Abu Dhabi and a number of important strategic sites.

He explained that “five ballistic and winged missiles, as well as a large number of drones were used in the attack on the Emirati targets.”

“The Armed Forces are carrying out today what they have promised, renewing their warning to the states of aggression that they would receive more painful strikes,” he said.

Sare’e warned foreign companies, citizens and residents of the UAE to stay away from vital sites and facilities, for their own safety.

The military spokesman stressed that “the Armed Forces will not hesitate to expand the databank of targets to include more important sites and facilities in the coming period.”

“The Armed Forces have declared the UAE an unsafe state, as long as its aggressive escalation against Yemen continues,” Yahya Sare’e concluded.
