US Republican lawmakers in the House and Senate have backed a report released by the Jewish Institute for the National Security of America (JINSA) that said that normalising relations between the Zionist entity and Saudi Arabia is “essential to US security interests.”
According to Fox News, JINSA discussed the importance of Israeli-Saudi relations as “bringing stability to the Middle East and serving US geopolitical needs,” according to the research.
The 48-page report reviewed the progress made between the occupation entity and four Arab countries under the so-called Abraham Accords, which formed alliances between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan.
The report, compiled in part by a team of senior officials who formally served in diplomatic and military positions during the Bush, Obama and Trump administrations, emphasised that strengthening the occupation entity’s relations with Saudi Arabia not only stabilizes the region, but also serves the geopolitical needs of the United States, the team claimed.
The Jewish Institute for National Security of America is one of the most powerful lobby groups in the United States, with high-ranking figures such as Dick Cheney and John Bolton amongst its members. The organisation is dedicated to ensuring the continuation of Zionist policies in the United States.
