The UAE ambassador to the United Nations has called for more US support in order to be able to intercept missiles launched by Yemen.
Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, UAE’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, told CNN that her country “will continue on the path of de-escalation and diplomacy as it claims.”
She added, “We will continue the de-escalation process and reserve the right to defend ourselves.”
The UAE has announced that it is planning to continue earlier plans to reduce its involvement in Yemen.
