Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has on Sunday condemned the reception of the Israeli president Isaac Herzog in the UAE, renewing its demand to stop all forms of Arab collaboration with Tel Aviv.
“Unfortunately, this visit comes in light of the escalation of the occupation attack on the Palestinian people, with killings and arrests and the increase of the policy of ethnic cleansing, the settlement policy, and the blockade of Gaza,” Hamas said, in a press statement.
The movement added that these normalisation visits with the occupation will “encourage the occupation to continue and escalate its aggression against the Palestinian people, which is what happened since the start of the normalisation process.”
Hamas called for a complete reversal of the collaboration policy, which serves only Israeli interests in the region, and contradicts the national interests of Arab and Islamic countries and peoples.”
