At least ten civilians killed in fighting between Turkish forces and SDF in northern Syria

At least ten civilians were killed and nearly 32 others were injured in mutual bombings between the Turkish occupation force in northern Syria and the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia, in al-Bab city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Thursday.

According to local sources and identical media reports, a mutual bombardment, through rocket shells and heavy artillery between Turkish occupation mercenaries and the US-backed SDF continued for several hours since this morning.

The sources added that a number of rocket artillery shells fell on residential neighbourhoods in al-Bab city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, claiming the lives of ten civilians.

The same sources expected the death toll from the shelling would rise as mutual bombardment are going ahead.

Both the Turkish occupation of parts of Syria and the US-backed, majority Kurdish, SDF forces, are operating on Syrian soil without permission from the government of the Syrian Arab Republic.
