Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi speaks: "Our position is that of patient believers and mujahideen"

The Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has on Thursday affirmed that “steadfastness in confronting the aggression, whatever the level of escalation, is a commitment of faith, moral and humane.”

“Our enemies are fighting us with the aim of controlling us completely, and as a result we suffer, but we are in an honourable position: the position of the patient believers and mujahideen,” said Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi in his speech this evening on the occasion of the first Friday of the Islamic month of Rajab.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi considered the first Rajab Friday “a great occasion and a major station for the Yemeni people and their affiliation to Islam.”

“Our position embodies freedom and dignity in every sense of the word, we reject humiliation and do not accept the domination of our enemies over us,” he stressed.

He continued, “The more the enemy increases unjust and criminal acts, and the more he seeks to occupy our country and besieges us, the more insight and awareness we have and the more we move to defeat it.”

Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi referred to the great difficulties that the Yemeni people have faced since the beginning of the aggression. “The enemy has achieved serious breakthroughs, but by relying on Allah and serious action, great victories have been achieved by us.”

He noted that the Americans, British, and Israelis pushed the UAE to return to the escalation in Yemen and made the country more implicated.

“The Emiratis are the losers because they returned to their unjustified escalation, and they are subject to American, British, and Israeli orders,” Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said.

He pointed out that there were some setbacks in Shabwah province as a result of the war conditions.
“This is happening, but this does not mean that the Yemeni people have been defeated. This will never happen.”

Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi confirmed that “the siege, tyranny, and crimes of the enemies are the reason for their defeat, and the grievances of the Yemeni people, with their patience, generosity, bearing responsibility and reliance on Allah are reasons for their inevitable victory.”
