The Yemeni Armed Forces have on Thursday praised the military operation carried out on Wednesday by the Alwiyat Al-Waad Al-Haq, or True Promise Brigades against the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, said: “We bless the Jihad operation carried out by the Alwiyat Al-Waad Al-Haq against the Emirati enemy on Wednesday.”

“We thank them for this position and their solidarity with our Yemeni people against the Emirati agent,” the spokesman added.
The Alwiyat Al-Waad Al-Haq group, based in Iraq, claimed responsibility for a drone attack on the UAE on Wednesday, saying in a statement that it launched “four drones targeting vital facilities in Abu Dhabi” in retaliation for the Emirates’ policies in Iraq and Yemen.
