Units of the Yemeni Armed Forces have on Monday stormed one of the largest Saudi army camps on the frontlines of the Jizan region.
This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on testimonies of well-informed sources.
According to the sources, the Yemeni army forces launched a large-scale military offensive towards the Al-Khuba district in Jizan province at the Yemeni-Saudi border.
After fierce fighting between the two sides, the Yemeni forces were able to penetrate into Al-Khuba camp, which is one of the largest Saudi army camps on the kingdom’s southern border.
This comes days after coalition forces failed to make any significant progress on the Al-Twal and Haradh border fronts.
