Head of the Yemeni national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, has met on Wednesday with the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the European Union, Carl Hallergard, in the Omani capital of Muscat.
During the meeting, in the presence of the official of the Gulf and Yemen office in the European Union and their assistants, the officials discussed the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen and the effects of the blockade on the lives of Yemenis in both humanitarian and economic terms.

The meeting also discussed the prospects for a political solution after the end of the siege and the war.
