Fire breaks out in Aden presidential palace

A fire has broken out in Ma’asheq Palace, the headquarters of the Saudi-led Hadi “government” in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, local sources said on Monday.

The sources stated that the fire erupted on Sunday evening in the palace kitchen, as a result of which smoke columns rose thickly in the sky of Sheikh Othman district.

The sources added that firefighting teams rushed to the palace and were able to put out the fire, without any casualties being reported.
