Saudi commander of the so-called “Najran force” has called on residents of al-Yatamah area in Jawf province, to leave their homes within the next 24 hours, promising to burn their areas by airstrikes.

Activists and military leaders within the coalition forces circulated a document signed by Major General Dhawi al-Ghazwani, commander of the Najran force, sent to Brigadier General Khalid bin Hawdhban, appointed by the Hadi government as deputy of Jawf province, demanding the population evacuate the area in preparation for bombing of the villages.

“Due to the presence of the ‘Houthis’ near the villages of Al-Yatatamh, we inform all citizens to evacuate the al-Yatamah and nearby areas within 24 hours, and any gatherings or activity in that area will be targeted,” said the document issued by the Saudi Ministry of Defense, no. 3000, dated Rajab 18, 1443.

In mid-December, the army forces liberated the Al-Yatamah desert in Khub Washaef district, on Yemen’s border with the Saudi Arabian province.
