The Yemeni Embassy in Damascus has organised a human rights symposium on the crimes of aggression and the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
Specialists in international law, politicians, analysts, specialists in political affairs, tribal sheikhs, and representatives of Palestinian factions attended the symposium.
The event began with the presentation of a documentary film on the heinous massacres committed by the Saudi-led coalition, which included very harsh scenes of the victims of the Saudi aggression.
During the symposium, the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Damascus, Abdullah Ali Sabri, said that “it is very important to convey the truth about what is taking place in Yemen, in terms of inhumane crimes against the people amid the silence of the international community.”
He stressed that “these crimes will not pass without punishment, and Yemen will seek everything in its power to stop this war and these crimes.”
“There are countries, governments and international organisations that trade with the blood of Yemenis, as they previously did in Syria, Palestine and other states,” Sabri added.
He described relations between Yemen and Syria as “historical and exceptional,” indicating that the embargo imposed on the two countries will only increase their determination and will.
In his turn, the Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, Talal Naji, said “the Saudi aggression against Yemen is much like the Zionist occupation of Palestine and its aggression against civilians.”
